BASICS OF BEARING

BALL BEARING

BASICS OF BEARING                                                                                    PRINCIPAL OF BEARING

BEARINGS are basically used to ease friction between moving parts. They are also used to carry load in certain industries such as those that handle materials. They find application in rotating parts of virtually all machines and automobiles. The automobile industry is the major user segment for bearings, followed by general engineering, heavy industries and railways.
Bearings are produced in various sizes and shapes with the smallest bearing weighing just a few grams and the larger ones weighing a few tonnes. The material used to produce bearings can also vary from conventional steel to ceramics, brass and plastics. Bearings can be broadly classified into two segments _ bimetals and anti-friction bearings. Bimetal bearings (also known as engine bearings) are primarily used in the engines of automobiles or machines. Their are meant to reduce the friction between the moving part of an engine _ crankshaft or camshaft and its associated support surface. Bimetal Bearings Limited is a major engine bearings producer in the country.

EXPLODED VIEW

The main components of an anti-friction bearing are the inner ring, the outer ring, the rolling elements, the cage and the seals. The anti-friction roller bearings can be further sub-classified based on the size of the rolling element. Depending on the type of the rolling elements that are used, the anti-friction bearings segment can be classified into ball bearings and roller bearings. The balls in a ball bearing transfer the load on a very small surface. The load carrying capacity is therefore lower than for a roller bearing, where rollers transfer the load via a larger line of contact with the raceways or the outer surface.

Ball bearings are used in automobiles, electrical equipment and household appliances. In India, SKF Bearings is the top ball bearings producer. Ball bearings constitute the largest segment in the total bearings market

4G IN INDIA

4G IN INDIA IN MID OF THIS YEAR

India is going to experience 4G in-spite of the slow rolling of 3G Service. Yes, it is true ,it is in the news that The Mukesh Ambani-headed company has acquired Infotel, which won the pan-India spectrum for broadband wireless access in 2010, and plans to capitalise on this newfound asset with a rapid rollout. Sources within the company revealed to The Economic Times that it plans to provide 4G connectivity to 700 cities by June next year.

Company will also provide the 4G enable devices to accelerate the growth. The main region for slow response for 3G is due to the lack of 3G devices & Higher price of 3G.The price may be due the the higher fee paid for spectrum.

Now 3G will face the close competition from 4G. Because it is with unbelievable speed of 50-100Mbps at the Price of 3G. It will launch in mid of this year
